It’s such a relief – and so fun! – to be back to live Jazzercise classes, north and south. While Zoom and Livestream certainly got us through the worst of the pandemic, now that we’re double vaccinated, the benefits of working out together in person just can’t be ignored.
It’s so easy – and also essential in this ongoing pandemic – to just keep saying yes to Jazzercise! Like in “Love Story”, one of our favourite new cardio routines, written by Taylor Swift and sung by Disco Lines & Cassidi: “It’s a love story, baby just say yes.”
Want to dance, swim, play tennis, golf? Goof around with your kids/grandkids/pets? Or just, say, bend over and tie up your shoes without the risk of putting your lower back out one day? Well, keep on coming to class then, because every single thing you do requires a strong core.
I’d like to take credit for the astute observation that “fitness doesn’t take a vacation”, but to be honest? I think I heard it first from our very own Jazzercise centre owner and instructor Gaby Copeland.
As you probably know, Body Talks by The Struts, is a song that we do a fun – and high energy! – cardio routine to. But you should also know that, if your body could talk, it would say a resounding THANK YOU for committing to as many Jazzercise classes/week as possible.
